By providing your phone number, You:

• Affirm that You are at least eighteen (18) years of age;
• Consent to receive from or on behalf of Angus Reid Forum USA, and its respective affiliates or vendors, recurring marketing SMS and MMS text messages (“messages”) using automated technology to the phone number You provided;
• Agree that Your electronic signature — evidenced by provision of Your telephone number, specified prompted key word(s), or SMS/MMS or other text message affirmative response (e.g., Y) — are intended to authenticate Your agreement to these Terms, represent Your consent to receive automated messages, and will have the same force and effect as a manual signature;
• Agree to the terms of our Privacy Policy and
• Understand and acknowledge that Your consent to such messages is not a condition of purchasing any property, goods, or services.

Message Frequency

The number of Angus Reid Forum USA messages that You receive will vary depending on the types of activities that become available to You.

Cost

Message and data rates may apply to each message sent or received in connection with Angus Reid Forum USA messages, as provided in Your mobile telephone service rate plan, in addition to any applicable roaming charges.  Angus Reid Forum USA does not impose a separate fee for sending Angus Reid Forum USA messages.  If You have any questions about Your text plan or data plan, please contact Your wireless provider.

How to Opt-Out

To stop receiving messages from Angus Reid Forum USA, text STOP to the phone number for the messaging program from which You no longer wish to receive message (i.e., the five or ten digit number from which the messages are being sent).  You will then receive one additional message confirming Your opt-out of the messaging program.  After this, You will no longer receive messages from us.  By texting STOP, this will only opt You out of the specific messaging program associated with that phone number.  You will remain opted in to other Angus Reid Forum USA messages sent or received by e-mail.  If You want to join again, just sign up as You did the first time and we will start sending messages to You again.

Your Mobile Telephone Number

You represent that You are the account holder for the mobile telephone number(s) that You provide.  You are responsible for notifying Angus Reid Forum USA immediately if You change Your mobile telephone number.  You may notify Angus Reid Forum USA of a number change by contacting support@angusreidusa.com

You agree to indemnify Angus Reid Forum USA in full for all claims, expenses, and damages related to or caused in whole or in part by Your failure to notify Angus Reid Forum USA if You change Your telephone number, including, but not limited to, all claims, expenses, and damages related to or arising under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act.

Access or Delivery to Mobile Network is Not Guaranteed

Delivery of information and content to a mobile device may fail due to a variety of circumstances or conditions.  You understand and acknowledge that network services, including but not limited to mobile network services, are outside of Angus Reid Forum USA control, and Angus Reid Forum USA is not responsible or liable for issues arising from them.  Neither Angus Reid Forum USA, its vendors, nor any mobile provider is liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

To request more information, text HELP to the five or ten digit phone number for the messaging program about which You have questions (i.e., the five or ten digit number from which the messages are being sent).  You may also receive help by contacting support@angusreidusa.com

Eligibility

To receive Angus Reid Forum USA messages, You must be a resident of Canada or the United States and 18 years of age or older.  Angus Reid Forum USA reserves the right to require You to prove that You are at least 18 years of age.

Changes to Terms and Conditions

Angus Reid Forum USA may revise, modify, or amend these Terms and Conditions at any time.  Any such revision, modification, or amendment shall take effect when it is posted to Angus Reid Forum USA website.  You agree to review these Terms and Conditions periodically to ensure that You are aware of any changes.  Your continued consent to receive Angus Reid Forum USA messages will indicate Your acceptance of those changes.

Termination of Messaging

Angus Reid Forum USA may suspend or terminate Your receipt of Angus Reid Forum USA messages if Angus Reid Forum USA believes You are in breach of these Terms and Conditions.  Your receipt of Angus Reid Forum USA messages is also subject to termination in the event that Your mobile telephone service terminates or lapses.  Angus Reid Forum USA reserves the right to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, all or any part of Angus Reid Forum USA messages, with or without notice.

Communications and Consent to Electronic Notices

You may communicate with Angus Reid Forum USA via postal mail, email, and our website.  Angus Reid Forum USA may issue notices via these various channels, including by sending e-mail to an address You provide.  You agree that such notices shall have legal effect.

You also agree that notices sent by e-mail satisfy any requirement that notices be provided in writing.  If You do not agree, do not use Angus Reid Forum USA products or services.

You have the right to withdraw Your consent to receive certain electronic communications, and, when required by law, Angus Reid Forum USA will provide You with paper copies upon request.  You may make such a request via any of the channels listed above.  If You withdraw Your consent, Angus Reid Forum USA reserves the right to terminate Your use of Angus Reid Forum USA.
